Happy birthday to Mick Avory (born 15 February 1944 in East Molesey, Surrey, England) who was the drummer for The Kinks from 1964 to 1984. Before dealing with the Davies brothers, Avory was briefly in an early incarnation of The Rolling Stones before they played their first shows.
Rebop Kwaku Baah (born Feb 13 1944 - died Jan 12 1983) was a Ghanaian percussionist who became a member of both Traffic (on Welcome to the Canteen, The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys, Shoot Out at the Fantasy Factory and On the Road) and Can (on Saw Delight, Out of Reach and Can).

Dewey Martin, the drummer of Buffalo Springfield was found dead over the weekend at his home in Van Nuys, Calif. of unknown causes. It's believed he passed away on Jan. 31. He was 68.
